Pastor Ron Wilson received the call to pastor the flock at First Baptist Church over 35 years ago.

He and his wife, Alice, have served the body of Christ and the community of Thousand Oaks with the consistent message that there is no other way of salvation but Jesus.

Pastor Wilson continues to teach God's Word to the body of believers here and ministers to the surrounding community.

He also served for many years on the Southern Baptist International Mission Board and more recently on the North American Mission Board as an active trustee.
